The Fowler Library

A truly amazing resource for spiritual formation is the parish library, named for Julian Fowler, long time member of Christ Church and Oberlin College Library, and Jean Graham, benefactor whose generosity allowed for the refurbishing of the space in the Nord House (the parish office located at 162 South Main Street on the Christ Church campus), with a truly amazing collection of theological classics, reference books as well as contemporary works, cassette tapes, videos, and compact discs. A volunteer parish librarian, Sharon Schwenk, spent several years updating the collection and promoting the ministry of the library through seasonal book browsers and a monthly bookmobile during the parish coffee hour. The current volunteer parish librarian is Robert Roth. The parish library currently contains 1540 volumes and is open on most Sundays following worship and through out the week during parish office hours - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
